Welcome to Black's Pies

Black's Pies is a revolutionary hand made pie business originating in Flintshire . It all started in the back of our family run fish and chip shop , after using several different pie brands , we made the controversial decision that we could not find what we were looking for, no matter how hard we tried.

Using the recipes passed down through generations, we discovered our new found love of hand-made, whole tasting pies ; producing our very own Black's Pies- A Taste of Tradition. 

We decided that ethically, as a company, that locally sourced meat was the only option for our business, we can guarantee that our products and ingredients are locally sourced  and supplied by Award Winning Butcher 

Although originally we produced these pies to use within our own premises, it quickly became apparent that there was clearly a need in this niche market for a more premium, consistent and improved product throughout the industry, Black's Pies were  simply too good to keep to ourselves!

From December 2019, We increased the operation to include a purpose built production and development kitchen to enable us to supply to the Wholesale Trade. Already, we have seen a huge increase in production and have been overwhelmed by the Popularity for our Pies from within the Food Outlet industry, and now supply to various local outlets which include, Pubs, Traditional Takeaways and Even a Football Club.

In 2022 our story continues to develop, our very own Minced Beef & Onion has been awarded GOLD at the British Pie Awards.
